Why or Why wouldn’t ebay accept this feature?

Written by  on January 12, 2018

There are so many new performance standards for sellers but it seems like hardly any for buyers.

It would be nice if ebay could create a feature that allows sellers to see a buyer's performance rating, too.
Not just their feedback because obviously now that is a mute point. Every buyer is going to have 100% positive feedback (still, what a dumb idea by ebay).

It would be nice to see how many times they have opened up a case (whether it be for items not received, item not as described,…

For Ebay Sellers, just an idea….

Okay, I know this might sound idealistic or maybe even naive, but isn't this theoretically possible?
As you know that small time ebay sellers can't really afford to have any defects else risk going below standard and basically making no sales since your listings will be at the bottom where maybe only 2 or 5 people might see it the whole month. The key seems to be "transactions". The more transactions you can make, the better you can handle having a defect.

So if you have 997 out of 1000…

Dropshipping from another ebay seller

I'm looking for some feedback about this method to raise my transactions on ebay.
In order for me to try and move a lot of transactions without putting a lot of money on the line,
I was thinking of just re-listing some really cheap products from chinese sellers (that I have purchased
from before so I sort of have history with them). Of course I would edit the photo and description so it doesn't match exactly the same
and I'm only looking to list things that are 99 cents – $2 at most and…

Buyer wants me to pay for import fees

Written by  on December 8, 2017

So I have a buyer from Canada who ordered something from me for about $21.
They contacted me the other day saying that upon delivery they were charged
$12 for import fees and they paid it to receive the package.

Now the buyer is telling me that they didn't know about any import fees before
buying the product and since I also didn't mention anything about import fees in the listing
they think it's my fault and wants me to pay them back the $12 they paid to the postal man.

My question is, as…

Why are actual retailers allowed to sell on ebay?

Written by  on November 14, 2017

Got a great question for you. I think I got ebay on this.
So ebay has this awful policy where they state you are not allowed to attempt to make off-site sales.
In other words, if you makes sales on ebay, you can't contact those buyers and tell them you got your
own online store where they can just purchase DIRECTLY from you next time thereby saving money
for the buyer and the seller on ebay fees. Even if you HINT at attempting to doing it, you can get restricted and even banned forever….

Can I win this case in ebay?

Written by  on November 13, 2017

Ok, I got a situation where UPS has confirmed the delivery as successfully delivered. It says it was left at the front desk (sounds like it was an office or building) and was RECEIVED by: Talia

A few days later, the buyer contacts me saying they never received the item. They start asking me to send them a proof of signature so they can confirm it. The UPS delivery method isn't a signature one. It does say that it was received by the person "Talia". The buyer actually knows this person…
